Township violence erupts in South Africa
    Middle East Star
    Saturday 17th May, 2008

In a slum town in Johannesburg, South Africans have once again attacked foreign residents.

Police report one man was shot dead and two people seriously injured in the township of Tembisa.

Reinforcements had to be sent in to prevent further beatings of immigrants from other African countries.

The violence against foreigners first broke out a week ago and the situation in the township has been described by police as "very tense."

At least five people have been killed and dozens injured in the violence.

Several women have also been raped.

The South Africans accuse the immigrants of crime and say they are taking jobs from South Africans.

Township violence erupts in South Africa

sounds like it is happening in one of the towns in Malaysia or one of the corners of Kuala Lumkpur..or probably in a few years down the road when cost of living escalates further ; petty crimes by foreigners here become more mega , widwspread , organised , intolerable and victimising also a lot of VVIPs and YBs ?..( typical reaction lah !) ; when jobs become scarse and the locals see the intensity of the competition coming from the aliens? or the problem may even appear sooner if for instance our brothers from East Malaysia loose their patience and find that the "“islanders” of the neighbouring country are already occupying their front porches or backyards! but why is our immigration so lax?? no personnel for effective enforcement ? or the typical “tidak apa” encouraged by our NGOs? if we domot begin to show the right and tough signals to the aliens now , then what happens in South Africa may become common here.aliens can be easily recognised from their gait; squattig habits , and poor imitative styles to blend with the locals such as overdressing in “tudong” especially by darkskinned Myanmars..yes i can spot them from miles away!! raiding and arresting some " gros” now and then at safe and urbanised centres and probably enjoying doing it in the process is not solving the real illegal opening up of real estates inthe interior of Gombak and Cameron Highlands for instance..yes chase them away now before the locals here learn more of what is happening in South Africa!

    Hogwash

Attacking another ethnicity is a hate crime. The authority pick and choose the term to address the situation or not at all. Kill one kill two and it will become a genocide.
