Man caught in Ireland with 10,000 pounds in underwear
    Middle East Star
    Friday 30th July, 2010
    (IANS)

Around 10,000 pounds in cash was found hidden in the underwear of an Italian man who was caught as he was about to fly out from the Belfast international airport in Ireland Friday.

UK Border Agency (UKBA) officials found large denomination pound and euro notes when they searched the man when he was about to board a flight to Rome, the BBC reported.

The man was unable to give an explanation for carrying the cash.

The money would be returned if the man could provide proof to a court that it came from a legitimate source, Maggie Eyden, UKBA assistant director for Northern Ireland, adding that the man later chose not to travel on the flight.
