Leonardo pulls out of Mel Gibson's project
    Middle East Star
    Friday 30th July, 2010
    (IANS)

Hollywood star Leonardo Di Caprio has opted out of Mel Gibson's historical epic on Viking culture after the latter was accused of domestic abuse.

When asked if Leonardo was doing the film, a source close to him said: 'Not a chance. Leo has earned the right to pick and choose who he works with and Mel Gibson is not one of them,' reports thesun.co.uk.

The untitled movie would have been the first collaboration between the two stars.

Gibson has been accused by Oksana Grigorieva, mother of his nine-month daughter Lucia, of hitting her.
